The secret was bound to come out eventually and tonight it finally did. Simon has what every Downworlder wants, and there may be a few envious people out there who aren’t too happy about it.
While this should be amazing news, Maia made it pretty clear that it’s not something to go and brag about.
Yup! Simon Lewis is now a full fledged Daywalker who doesn’t need to hide in the shadows anymore. This guy seems pretty trustworthy right? Everything comes with a priceĭespite all of the tragedy in the mid-season finale, Simon actually benefited from some of it’s events. He then takes her back to his place and gives Izzy something to make the withdrawals a little more manageable. Sebastian makes his entranceīefore things get completely out of hand, Sebastian makes his first appearance and saves Isabelle from the gang of vampires. After he turns her down, Izzy goes in search of other vampires to drink from, but they’re not as happy to see her as she is to see them. She fixes herself up and heads to Raphael’s practically begging for another bite. Despite trying her best to sweat it out, Izzy just can’t take the pain anymore. Going through drug withdrawals are tough, and apparently vampire venom is no different. After his plan to sacrifice himself for the common good backfired and resulted in the death of all the surrounding Downworlders, Jace initially refuses to talk about or even acknowledge what happened. It takes a while, but we eventually see it all come to the surface when Alec finds Jace broken down and crying on the rooftop. Keeping everything bottled up clearly isn’t working and as much as he tries to deny it, Jace is about to break.
Jace has never been one to express his emotions and it’s definitely starting to take a toll on him. Let’s dive in! Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt It looks like things are only gonna get harder for our characters here on out. The reason why it felt so long was because well…they have a lot of problems. Although the premiere wasn’t exactly the best one to date, it was 100% necessary to move the plot forward. While a lot of my favorite episodes are usually more character driven, the premiere (rightfully) focused on all of the problems presented in the mid-season finale.
